After trailing early, the team fought back with timely offense and strong pitching down the stretch to secure a 6–3 victory. The win became even more impressive as the tournament unfolded, with Louisiana Wildcatters Patin eventually capturing the championship of the 2026 PG Houston Super Regional NIT (Major). Taking down the eventual champions highlighted the level of competition Impact brought to the weekend.
